Risen Kids

Have kids and want to come worship?

We’ve got you covered! Risen Life Church offers a fun program for kids. We meet in the New Hope YMCA and utilize their childcare room, which is designed for a great experience for your child.

More Than Childcare

We’re passionate about leading kids to become disciples of Christ through engaging, Bible-based lessons. The Bible Adventure Curriculum created by Life.Church does a great job in helping kids of all ages learn relevant Biblical truths through interactive videos and leader led activities.

Safety is Our Priority

We aim to create an atmosphere where parents or guardians can confidently leave their children. Volunteers at Risen Kids are screened with a background check and complete a Sexual Abuse Prevention training. The YMCA childcare room is a secure space, close to the gymnasium where worship is held so parents are never far away!

FAQs

Pre-registration is not required, but can help save you time at check-in when you arrive for the first time. Each person attending our worship service checks in as part of a YMCA requirement. For kids, we'll need to register the contact information for the guardian(s) on their first visit to keep everyone safe. If you pre-register, you'll simply need to check kids in at the childcare room when you arrive! If you decide not to pre-register, you'll be able to register your child(ren) on arrival.

We'd love to answer any questions you might have about our worship service and childcare. Head to the Plan Your Visit page to send a question so we can provide any information you might need!

We ask guardians to respect the health of the volunteers and other families. Children that have been sick in the previous 24 hours should NOT be brought to Risen Kids. If a child in the Risen Kids Ministry area becomes ill during the service, the volunteers must notify the parent/guardian and the child must be removed from the area as soon as possible.

Illness includes any active signs of infections including but not limited to: vomiting, diarrhea, fever (100F or greater), unexplained rashes, eye infections, childhood diseases (chicken pox, measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, etc.), and any other active infections as determined by the Risen Kids Ministry Lead(s).
